Bar Valette

Bar Valette is Isaac McHale's informal Shoreditch sibling to his two-Michelin-starred The Clove Club, opened in January 2025 on the Kingsland Road site of the former Two Lights. The cooking is inspired by a simple love of Spanish food with southern French influences: bar snacks in the spirit of San Sebastian's pintxos bars, hearty sharing dishes and a few Clove Club signatures, alongside a wine-bar list in a relaxed evening setting. The restaurant is currently closed and is due to return in late summer 2026.
