1. Introduction
Welcome to Hospify (“Hospify”, “we”, “us”, or “our”).
These Terms of Service (“Terms”) govern your access to and use of our website, applications, and related services (collectively, the “Platform”).
Hospify operates a technology platform that enables jobseekers and hospitality venues to discover each other, share information, and communicate directly.
By accessing or using the Platform, you agree to be bound by these Terms. If you do not agree, you must not use the Platform.
2. Definitions
- User – any individual or entity using the Platform, including jobseekers and venues
- Venue – a hospitality business listed on the Platform
- Team Account – an organisational account used to manage one or more Venues
- Team Admin – a User with administrative control over a Team Account
- Content – all listings, job posts, applications, CVs, and messages submitted or displayed on the Platform
3. Platform Role (Important)
Hospify operates as a neutral marketplace and technology intermediary.
Hospify:
- is not an employer
- is not a recruiter or employment agency
- does not act on behalf of jobseekers or venues
- does not participate in hiring decisions
Hospify provides tools and visibility only. Any employment relationship is strictly between the jobseeker and the venue.
4. Eligibility
You must be at least 18 years old and legally capable of entering into binding agreements to use the Platform.
If you use the Platform on behalf of a business, you confirm you are authorised to do so.
5. Accounts, Venues, and Claims
5.1 Account Creation
Users must provide accurate and up-to-date information.
5.2 Venue Claims
Users may claim Venues on the Platform.
Hospify may apply verification measures but does not guarantee that a claimed Venue is operated or controlled by its rightful owner.
Any User claiming a Venue represents that they are authorised to act for that business.
Hospify may suspend, revoke, or transfer Venue access at any time.
6. Job Listings
6.1 Types of Listings
Job listings may be:
- sourced from third-party websites
- submitted by Hospify
- posted directly by Venues
Hospify may display, distribute, or link to listings but does not control or guarantee the underlying employment opportunity.
6.2 Third-Party Job Links
Some listings link to external websites.
Hospify does not operate or control third-party sites and is not responsible for their content, hiring processes, or data practices.
7. Applications, CVs, and ATS Tools
7.1 Submitting Applications
Jobseekers may submit CVs and applications to Venues, including Venues that are not actively advertising roles.
Submitted information may be accessed by Users who claim and manage the relevant Venue.
Hospify does not guarantee:
- that applications will be reviewed
- that Venues are hiring
- that any outcome will result
7.2 Applicant Tracking Tools
Hospify provides applicant tracking and communication tools for convenience only.
Venues are solely responsible for:
- candidate assessment
- communications
- interview arrangements
- legal compliance
Hospify does not supervise or approve hiring actions taken using these tools.
8. No Guarantees
8.1 No Guarantee of Jobs
Hospify does not guarantee employment outcomes, job availability, or hiring success.
8.2 No Guarantee of Candidates
Hospify does not guarantee:
- candidate quality
- application volume
- suitability or availability of applicants
9. Conduct, Interviews, and Safety
All interviews, meetings, and communications occur directly between Users and Venues.
Hospify is not responsible for the conduct or behaviour of any User or Venue, whether online or offline.
Users engage with opportunities at their own discretion and risk.
10. No Endorsement
The inclusion of any Venue, job listing, or Content does not constitute endorsement, verification, or recommendation by Hospify.
11. Misrepresentation
Hospify does not guarantee the identity, legitimacy, or intentions of any User or Venue.
Verification processes, where applied, are not foolproof.
12. Platform Discretion
Hospify reserves the right, at its sole discretion, to:
- suspend or terminate accounts
- remove or modify Content
- revoke Venue access
Hospify is not liable for losses arising from such actions.
13. No Duty to Monitor
Hospify is not obligated to monitor Content or activity. Any moderation is discretionary and does not create a duty to monitor.
14. Intellectual Property
The Platform and its features are owned by Hospify.
Users grant Hospify a non-exclusive, worldwide, royalty-free licence to use Content in connection with operating the Platform.
15. Limitation of Liability
Nothing limits liability for death, personal injury, fraud, or liability that cannot be excluded by law.
To the maximum extent permitted, Hospify is not liable for indirect or consequential losses.
Total liability is limited to the greater of £100 or fees paid in the preceding 12 months.
16. Termination
Users may close accounts at any time.
Hospify may suspend or terminate access at any time.
Provisions that should survive termination shall survive.
17. Governing Law
These Terms are governed by the laws of England and Wales.
