Black Bear Burger

Black Bear Burger is a London burger group founded by Liz and Stew, inspired by ski seasons in Whistler and Stew's family beef farm in Devon. It began as a Saturday stall at Broadway Market, moved through Street Feast and KERB residencies to a first permanent site at Boxpark Shoreditch, and opened its first sit-down restaurant in Brixton Market in December 2019. Its ethos is "simple, done well": native-breed, grass-fed, dry-aged South West beef from an award-winning butcher, bespoke buns baked daily, oak-smoked outdoor-bred bacon, halal British chicken, and everything else — fries, sauces, pickles, ferments, ice cream — made in house. Named 2nd best burger in the world in 2025, it runs nine London sites: full-service restaurants in Brixton, Exmouth Market and Westfield London, and counters in Market Halls (Canary Wharf, Victoria, Oxford Street, Paddington), Boxpark Shoreditch and Buck Street Market, Camden.
