The pubs range from family-friendly community locals like the Aigburth Arms and the Halfway House to city-centre venues including Stanley & Co in Preston, The Grosvenor near Manchester Oxford Road and The Grapes on Liverpool's Mathew Street. Pubs are run by salaried house managers rather than tenants, with a bonus scheme, incentive trips and central support from the wider team - several management couples have been with the company since its early days.
