Boojum

Boojum is Ireland's original and best-loved burrito bar, founded in 2007 as a tiny outlet on Botanic Avenue in Belfast and led by CEO David Maxwell, who fell for Mexican food while running an Irish pub in Arizona. It now has 20 fast-casual restaurants across Northern Ireland, the Republic of Ireland and England — four in Belfast plus Leeds and Liverpool in the UK — supported by two production kitchens and a Belfast head office, with a crew of over 480. Known for tight burrito rolls, 'phat bowls', a loyalty app and a supermarket retail range, it recruits crew, shift leaders and managers through its Teamtailor careers site.
