The Carlton Club is one of London's foremost members-only clubs, founded in Georgian London in 1832 as the original home of the Conservative Party and on St James's Street ever since. The clubhouse holds two dining rooms — the Wellington Room and the Churchill Room — serving classic and modern British dishes from locally sourced ingredients under Executive Head Chef Manoj Gurung, alongside bars, the Thatcher Drawing Room, private dining rooms and twenty-four bedrooms. Private events, meetings and weddings are hosted alongside a programme of member societies and reciprocal clubs worldwide.
