Chico's is "the people's restaurant" — an East London halal comfort-food brand founded in 2019, weeks before the pandemic, that has become a local favourite for its Legendary Smash Burger, fiery Nashville range (including the viral Nashville mozzarella sticks), flame-grilled chicken, wraps, milkcakes and San Sebastián cheesecake. Four restaurants — the East Ham flagship, Aldgate East, Leyton and Wood Green — plus the new Chicos Express counter at The Food District on Edgware Road, with plans to franchise nationwide.
