Control Room B is a cocktail bar inside Battersea Power Station's restored 1950s control room — original dials, synchroscopes, curved control desks and polished switchgear panels overlooking Turbine Hall B, lit in warm amber and art deco detail. Alongside the bar there is the "Escape The Power Cut" code-breaking escape room, an audio-guided backstage tour of the Power Station, a champagne tour and venue hire for up to 250 guests. Walk-ins welcome, children until 5pm. Part of Inception Group, the operator behind Cahoots, Mr Fogg's, Bunga Bunga, Barts, Maggie's and Propeller; hiring across the group via Join the Team.

Barts is one of London's original speakeasies — a 1929 Prohibition-era hideaway concealed inside Chelsea Cloisters on Sloane Avenue, dressed as the apartment of Chicago gangster "Uncle Barts" and run by his Shady Associates. Behind an unassuming black door (you'll need the password) sit vintage décor, low-lit corners, theatrical cocktails served in everything but the obvious, late-night parties and private hire for up to 80. Over-21s, members given priority, smart-casual with a nod to the era. Part of Inception Group.

Bunga 90 (formerly Bunga Bunga) is a retro 90s interactive cocktail bar on Drury Lane in Covent Garden — a multi-zone nostalgic playground of dial-up tones, Tamagotchis and Top of the Pops, with karaoke on stage, on the bar, in the loos or in private 90s karaoke rooms, weekend 90s brunches, Magic 8 Ball Mondays and late nights until 3am on Saturdays. Open seven days, walk-ins welcome (except Saturdays before 4pm), with venue hire for standing drinks parties. Part of Inception Group.

Cahoots is Inception Group's 1940s-themed cocktail bar brand — "high spirits, scoundrels and swing" — built around post-war London theatre and immersive design: the Underground, a disused tube station beneath Kingly Court with Northbound and Southbound platforms; the Ticket Hall, a black-market pub on Kingly Street with a big outdoor drinking area; and the Postal Office, a bar hidden behind a life-size postbox in Borough Yards serving cocktails by pneumatic tube. Live swing, DJs and themed events run weekly, with venue hire and a gift shop; Inception Group (Mr Fogg's, Bunga 90, Barts, Maggie's) recruits across all venues via its Join the Team page.

Maggie's Club is Chelsea's 80s nightclub — a basement time capsule on the Fulham Road devoted to the decade of smash hits, quirky drinks and outlandish fashion, with a retro disco fit-out, Rubik's-cube cocktails and a soundtrack of Madonna, Prince, Bowie, New Order and the Human League. Open Thursday to Saturday nights, with guestlist, tables, memberships and private parties. Part of Inception Group.

Mr Fogg's is Inception Group's British heritage bar collection, built around the Victorian traveller Phileas Fogg and Jules Verne's "Around the World in Eighty Days" — an award-winning group of eccentric, story-led London venues famed for innovative drinks, food and immaculate service. Nine bars and taverns across Mayfair, Covent Garden, Fitzrovia, Soho and the City, from the Residence and its Secret Garden to the Society of Exploration, the Apothecary, the Botanical Tavern and the new Market Tavern in Covent Garden Market. Expect afternoon teas, explorer talks, murder mysteries, live music and private hire for 25 to 400 guests. Vacancies across the collection are listed at inception-group.com/current-vacancies.
