Darjeeling Express

Darjeeling Express is Asma Khan's Michelin Guide Indian restaurant on Rupert Street in Soho, known for its all-female kitchen and for homestyle cooking served on sharing platters — a homage to the matriarchs of home kitchens, with recipes drawn from the length and breadth of India and spices used, as they traditionally were, to nourish as well as to flavour. Asma Khan was the first British chef on Netflix's Chef's Table, was named by TIME as one of the world's 100 most influential people in 2024, is a chef advocate for the UN World Food Programme and a patron of the Sodexo Stop Hunger Foundation. The restaurant is a safe space for women and a champion of grassroots social and environmental causes.
