Gold is a neighbourhood restaurant and late-night bar on Portobello Road in the beating heart of Notting Hill, an area celebrated for its cultural diversity and artistic eclecticism. Informal and honest, it serves generous, seasonal plates cooked in wood ovens and over fire - wood-roasting, charring and slow cooking with the least intervention - to share, alongside a contemporary list of low-intervention, organic, biodynamic and natural wines and a seasonal, fuss-free cocktail list. The restaurant spans four floors: a ground-floor bar and open kitchen leading to a plant-filled garden room with a retractable glass roof, a first-floor private dining room, and a third-floor roof terrace with panoramic views, catering for everything from intimate private dining to large receptions with seated and standing set menus.
