Kolamba

Kolamba — the locals' name for Colombo — is a celebration of Sri Lankan home cooking across two London restaurants: the original on Kingly Street in Soho and Kolamba East in Spitalfields. The food draws on cherished recipes from friends and family back in Colombo: bold, spicy curries, refreshing sambols, hoppers and freshly made rotis, all designed for sharing, with cocktails and a curated wine list. Big flavours from a small island. The team describes itself as a family rather than a staff, and is always looking for enthusiastic, positive front-of-house and kitchen people — experience is a plus but not essential, with thorough training and generous rewards.
