Little Bao Boy

Little Bao Boy is a proudly independent street food brand from Leeds, founded in 2016 by James Ooi in a home kitchen and scaled with partner JB from 2020: bold homemade bao buns and Asian-inspired dishes with a modern western twist (its Beef Bao became the most-ordered item in Leeds), with over half the menu vegan. It trades from its HQ at North Brew Tap in Leeds, food halls and cinemas in London (Box Hall City at Liverpool Street, Chiswick Cinema, Brent Cross opening soon), rotating residencies such as Shelter Hall in Brighton, Sessions-run delivery kitchens across the UK, festivals, weddings and events, and recruits franchise and residency partners through its Work With Us programme.
