Nkora

Nkora is a small independent group of specialty coffee shops — "a quiet counterpoint to a world that rarely stops" — begun in 2015 by Nancy and Emile above an empty unit on Hackney Road, followed by Cambridge Heath in 2017 and St Albans in 2018, and now eight calm, considered cafés across London (Shoreditch, Cambridge Heath, Mayfair, Marylebone, Farringdon Street, London Wall) plus St Albans and High Barnet. Coffee is sourced with Plot Roasting alongside guest roasters who share a thoughtful approach; the group hires experienced specialty-coffee baristas and managers through its jobs page.
