The Bakery Stop

The Bakery Stop is an independent Hertfordshire bakery and café business — "handmade every day" — that grew out of St Albans' Pudding Stop. Everything is baked from scratch each morning at its 4,000 sq ft bakery in Redbourn: bakers prove and shape dough, fry and fill doughnuts, bake brownies, blowtorch lemon meringue pies and sugar cinnamon buns, alongside sourdough breads, bagels and buttermilk pancakes, served with speciality coffee. Three sites — the Redbourn bakery café, a shop at the Colonnade in St Albans and a shop on Church Green in Harpenden — plus Penelope, the pudmobile at St Albans City station on weekday evenings, and same-day click & collect.
