The Dirty Onion is a bar, live-music venue and beer garden in a 300-year-old former warehouse on Hill Street in Belfast's Cathedral Quarter — the city's oldest building, dating to 1680. Opened in 2013 by the Beannchor Group, it houses two bars (The Dirty Onion and The Second Fiddle), the Yardbird rotisserie-chicken restaurant upstairs, a peat fire and one of Belfast's biggest beer gardens, with free live bands and acoustic acts seven nights a week. Dog-friendly.
