The Superlative Collection

The Superlative Collection is a Glasgow hospitality group of nine distinctive bars, brasseries and dining rooms across the city centre, each with its own kitchen and character but held to one standard - exceptional experiences, without exception. It spans modern Scottish fine dining at Glaschu on Royal Exchange Square, French-Mediterranean brasserie cooking at Maison by Glaschu, fire-cooked rare-breed steak at Gost, champagne and seasonal plates at Cuvee, all-day cafe culture at The Delphine, a sports bar and diner at The Clubhouse, cocktails and live piano at Bluedog, and proper pubs at Duke's Umbrella and The Noble. Most venues offer private dining, exclusive hire and events; a gift voucher is redeemable at every address and a loyalty app is on the way. Enquiries for bookings, private hire and press go to the collection's sales team.

Bluedog

Bluedog is The Superlative Collection's cocktail and piano bar on West George Street, a fixture of Glasgow's city-centre nightlife since 2003. Live keys and lounge sounds run through the evening while the bar turns out considered classic and contemporary cocktails in a warm, low-lit room built for long conversations, pre-dinner drinks and late nights, a short walk from Buchanan Street and the theatres. Open Tuesday to Sunday; private events welcome.

Cuvée Princes Square

Cuvee Princes Square is The Superlative Collection's champagne bar and seasonal kitchen on the courtyard of Princes Square, a calm room of soft lighting and refined textures. The list leads with champagne from grande marque houses alongside fine wines and cocktails, and the kitchen works with Scottish producers on seasonal plates - oysters, handmade pasta, game terrines - with a champagne afternoon tea through the day. Available for exclusive hire.

Duke's Umbrella

The Duke's Umbrella is The Superlative Collection's gastropub on Argyle Street in Anderston: a proper pub with good beer, long hours and a room that fills easily, where the kitchen takes pub classics and gives them a fine-dining hand, backed by gourmet cocktails, a considered wine list and a regular programme of live events.

Glaschu

Glaschu - Scottish Gaelic for Glasgow, the dear green place - is The Superlative Collection's modern Scottish fine dining restaurant on the first floor of the Western Club overlooking Royal Exchange Square, behind the Gallery of Modern Art. Classical technique and exceptional Scottish produce served with warm rather than formal attention, from a keenly priced market lunch to a tasting menu with paired wines, signatures such as lobster ravioli and Beef Wellington, and a Sunday roast served all day. Private dining available.

Gost

Gost is The Superlative Collection's steak restaurant and cocktail bar on Bothwell Street near Central Station, built around fire and provenance: grass-fed and Angus beef from sustainable Scottish farms, rare breeds, and Japanese and Australian Wagyu among the specials, alongside seafood, sharing cuts and a Sunday roast, with classic and signature cocktails, a deep wine list and private dining rooms for celebrations and corporate events.

Maison by Glaschu

Maison by Glaschu is The Superlative Collection's French-Mediterranean brasserie on the upper floor of Princes Square, pairing French technique with lighter Mediterranean accents across a day that runs from morning coffee and pastries to unhurried lunches and considered dinners, with a champagne and cocktail bar carrying the room into the evening.

The Clubhouse

The Clubhouse is The Superlative Collection's sports bar and all-day diner on the second floor of Princes Square, the glass-roofed arcade off Buchanan Street: breakfast rolls, then burgers, mac and cheese and sharing plates through to the evening, big screens carrying Premier League football, Six Nations rugby, golf majors and boxing, a taproom of draught beer, Scottish whisky, wine and cocktails, and live music through the week.

The Delphine

The Delphine is The Superlative Collection's all-day cafe bar and restaurant on the courtyard level of Princes Square, opening early for coffee and pastries, moving through brunch and lunch and staying late for dinner, cocktails and champagne. The kitchen is European in outlook with Scottish produce at its heart; the room has red banquettes, a book nook and a cocktail bar, with a private dining room for larger tables.

The Noble

The Noble is The Superlative Collection's public house, bar and dining room on Bothwell Street next to Glasgow Central, blending the sophistication of a modern jazz bar with a cosy, casual dining room. Breakfast, brunch, lunch and dinner with pub cooking done properly - burgers, pizza, fish and chips and a full Sunday roast - and cocktails, wine, gin, whisky and beer behind the bar, close to the Theatre Royal and Royal Concert Hall.
