Wok to Walk is the Amsterdam-born fast-casual wok chain started in 2004 after a trip around Asia — quick, fresh, made-to-order stir-fries where customers build their own box from noodles or rice, proteins, vegetables and sauces, cooked with a bit of showmanship by its "Woksmiths" — now more than 100 restaurants worldwide. The UK franchise runs ten sites: four in central London (Baker Street, Brewer Street, Cranbourn Street and Argyll Street), two in Cardiff and one each in Bristol, Coventry, Leeds and Manchester, with delivery, click-and-collect and catering. It hires "super cashiers" and "wok stars" through an online application form.
