Beast sits behind an unmarked door on Chapel Place in Marylebone, serving surf and turf - Norwegian king crab and dry-aged steak - at long communal tables in a candlelit room. The design takes its cue from the Arctic fishermen's huts where crab was eaten and tales were told, with earthy walls nodding to the highlands where the cattle are reared under a protected programme. Food is served as feasts sprawled across the table, alongside an extensive wine programme.
The kitchen is led by head chef Lukasz Bilnik, with Paolo Prontera as general manager.
