KOBA has been part of London's Korean dining scene since 2005, on Rathbone Street in Fitzrovia. It specialises in kitchen-cooked charcoal barbecue: rather than grilling at the table, the chefs cook premium cuts of meat over charcoal and serve them with a range of authentic Korean side dishes.
A major renovation in September 2025 reimagined the restaurant with a design blending Korea's cultural heritage with modern elements. The kitchen sets out to bring the quality and flavours currently thriving in Seoul to London - rooted in tradition, but refined.
