La Campagna Chard, in the former Eagle Tavern at Buckland St Mary on the edge of the Blackdown Hills, combines a traditional country pub with an Italian brasserie: à la carte and set lunch menus, pizzas, Sunday roasts, daily takeaway, and wines, cocktails, ciders and real ales from the bar. Open Monday to Saturday noon–10pm and Sunday noon–9pm.
