Merlin Labron-Johnson's Michelin and Green Star farm-to-table restaurant and rooms in a 300-year-old former country inn among the rolling Somerset hills, ten minutes from Bruton. The tasting menu (£175, around eight courses) is built around produce from the restaurant's own farm and neighbouring growers, with a three-course table d'hote (£75) in the evenings and a five-course lunch (£105); wine and soft pairings, a bar and a private dining room. Four bedrooms sit above the restaurant and there is a 20-space car park. Dinner Tuesday to Sunday; lunch Thursday to Sunday; closed Monday.
