An independent, free-of-tie gastropub in the heart of Pimlico, trading since 2009 and a five-minute walk from Victoria. Free of tie means the pub picks every beer, wine and spirit itself, with an extensive wine list, classic and signature cocktails, and lager and cask ale on tap alongside a regularly changing guest spot. The kitchen serves seasonal, freshly prepared food - lasagne, braised beef and mash, fish and chips, the venison burger, squid ink risotto and a pan-fried fish of the day - and the traditional Sunday roast, with generous portions, proper Yorkshire puddings and seasonal trimmings, is served every Sunday from noon.
Bar: Sunday to Wednesday 11:00-23:00, Thursday to Saturday 11:00-00:00.
Kitchen: Monday to Saturday 12:00-15:00 and 17:30-22:00, Sunday 12:00-21:00.
The quieter first-floor dining room is available for private hire, and the whole pub can be booked exclusively for larger occasions. Dogs are welcome, there is outdoor seating and free WiFi, and walk-ins are welcome.
