The Wheelbarrow is a café bistro and bakery tucked beside Greenbank Sports Academy on Greenbank Lane, a short walk from Sefton Park. Sister venue to The Watering Can, it opened in 2022 and serves breakfast, brunch, lunch, cakes and coffee with a bar, all around a beautiful enclosed courtyard garden; the in-house bakery makes artisan bread, croissants and pastries. Available for private hire — birthdays, weddings and parties for up to 150, with buffets, a late licence and space for DJs or live music. Hours: Mon–Fri 10am–5pm, Sat–Sun 9am–6pm, Wednesdays open until 9pm for drinks.
