The White Lion Bristol
A historic city-centre pub, once part of a hotel and a pub since at least 1806. Its back wall is formed from the old Bristol city wall that marked the boundary of the medieval city, with a section still visible inside, and the steps down to the gents come from the long-demolished city gaol. Small in size but big on hospitality, with outdoor seating opposite the Cenotaph piazza. Family friendly, food and free WiFi.
