The Willow Bank is a community pub on the corner of Townsend Lane in Anfield, close to Liverpool FC's stadium and a popular pre- and post-match stop. Recently refurbished inside and out by Punch (£172k), it shows all the sport on big HD screens, has live music every weekend on its revamped stage, a weekly quiz, a beer garden, free Wi-Fi and is dog friendly. Food runs from sharers and burgers to fish & chips and other pub classics. Open 12pm–11pm daily.
