Bulbul — Indian Plates & Cocktails — is a micro-regional Indian restaurant and bar beneath Tudor Street in the City of London, "rooted in India, at home in London". It began with a simple thought: Indian food is far broader and more regional than the handful of dishes it is reduced to, so the team travelled through forests, villages, cities and coastlines learning family recipes and ways of cooking that have quietly endured. The menu moves across regions — dishes from homes, street-side cooking and everyday meals, presented lighter and more shareable — with Indian-ingredient-forward cocktails from a cave-inspired bar under glowing flower lights. Working lunches, celebratory dinners and group bookings; a standing "talent pool" for people who are calm in a storm and fun after it.
