Cigalon

Cigalon is a contemporary Provençal restaurant in a former auction house on Chancery Lane, part of Gascon Connection — the group from Michelin-starred chef Pascal Aussignac and Vincent Labeyrie (Club Gascon). Chef Julien Carlon's monthly-changing menu is cooked around a wood-fired Josper grill in a double-height, glass-ceilinged dining room seating 68, with a private dining room for 8; the wine list champions southern French and Corsican producers. Downstairs, sister bar Baranis serves Riviera-inspired cocktails, pastis and absinthe in the vaulted cellar with the UK's only indoor pétanque court and table football, with capacity for 120 on private hire.
