Estiatorio Milos

Estiatorio Milos is the Greek seafood restaurant founded by Costas Spiliadis in Montreal in 1979 and now spread across Athens, New York, Miami Beach, Las Vegas, Los Cabos, Dubai, Singapore, Toronto and West Palm Beach, with a five-star hotel in Athens and a yacht. Its philosophy is philoxenia, the Greek love of strangers, expressed through the simplest possible treatment of exceptional produce. The only UK restaurant opened in 2015 in the former British Columbia House on Regent Street at St James's, a short walk from Piccadilly Circus: marble, light wood and Grecian urns inside a circa-1915 building, a signature fish market at its centre showcasing Mediterranean seafood alongside catches from the Bay of Biscay, and a grand space for private events. It won Harden's Best Fish & Seafood Restaurant in London in 2017 and held AA Rosettes for culinary excellence from 2015 to 2017.
