FIKA Sussex

FIKA Sussex is an independent Brighton & Hove café group built on "filthy fried eggs and damn good coffee". Named after the Swedish coffee-break ritual, its menus are all-day brunch: fried-egg sandwiches on grilled farmhouse bread (Pig in Blue, Hot Chick, Ton Bacon), brunch burgers in seeded brioche, grilled cheese, overnight oats, granola and porridge with lingonberry jam, smoothies, iced pistachio lattes and rhubarb iced tea — with vegan and gluten-free versions of nearly everything. Three cafés: FIKA Hove on Norton Road, FIKA Avenue on Second Avenue, and FIKA Beach at the Sea Lanes swimming complex on Brighton seafront.
