Glendola Leisure Group is one of the UK's leading family-owned private hospitality companies, founded in 1973 by chairman Peter Salussolia and run from head office in Hayes, west London. With sister company HMI it turned over £97.6 million in 2023-24 and owns and operates an estate of around 18 hotels, pubs, bars, restaurants, coffee roasteries and a brewery across London, Glasgow, Edinburgh and Belfast: the Waxy O'Connor's Irish bars in London and Glasgow and Waxy's Little Sister in Soho, the Lansdowne in Primrose Hill, the World's End in Camden, the Fox in Shoreditch, the Barley Mow in Westminster, the Crown & Anchor in Covent Garden, the Prince Alfred in Bayswater and Well & Boot at Waterloo Station, Alston Bar & Beef and Shilling Brewing Co in Glasgow, Gordon St Coffee, the Angels Share and Le Monde hotels and Frankenstein in Edinburgh, and the Tipsy Bird in Belfast. Alston Bar & Beef

Alston Bar & Beef is Glendola Leisure's steak restaurant and gin bar under the historic arches of Glasgow Central Station, serving Tweed Valley beef from the Scottish Borders and named after the long-forgotten main street of Grahamston village demolished to build the station.

Angels Share Hotel

Angels Share Hotel, Bar and Restaurant on Hope Street in Edinburgh is Glendola Leisure's showcase of contemporary Scottish culture: stylish bedrooms each themed on a Scottish cultural icon, premium whisky, a curated cocktail list and modern Scottish dining from the best Scottish produce.

Gordon St Coffee

Gordon St Coffee is Glendola Leisure's small-batch coffee roastery and coffee shops, the first in Glasgow city centre to roast its own coffee since May 2014, with shops at Glasgow Central Station and in Edinburgh, beans sold online and a weekend pop-up at the Barras Market while the Glasgow shop is closed after a fire in March 2026.

Le Monde

Le Monde is Glendola Leisure's boutique hotel and bar on Edinburgh's George Street: 18 individually designed rooms inspired by the world's most cosmopolitan cities, an amazing bar, private event spaces, cocktails, dining and an award-winning nightclub.
