Julie's is the legendary West London bar and restaurant at Clarendon Cross in Notting Hill, opened in 1969 by BIBA designer Julie Hodgess and an instant hit with fashion icons, artists and royalty. Through the 70s, 80s and 90s it was the neighbourhood's bohemian institution - Mick Jagger, Tom Cruise, Naomi Campbell, Princess Diana and Annie Lennox among the regulars, Kate Moss's 22nd birthday in the wine bar - and in 2024 it reopened under new owner and Holland Park resident Tara MacBain as a modern French brasserie with 160 covers across a ground-floor dining room and bar, a basement dining area, an alfresco terrace and a private dining room. Chef Patron Owen Kenworthy (previously Brawn and The Pelican) oversees a regularly changing all-day carte of Modern French brasserie cooking, show-stopping seafood towers, Saturday brunch and Sunday roasts, with cocktails designed in harmony with the dishes, an inviting wine list and Martini masterclasses. Artists, thinkers, martini drinkers - since 1969 Julie's has welcomed them all. Careers enquiries go to careers@juliesrestaurant.com or by phone.
