Part of OKAN London
OKAN — "mum" in the Osaka dialect — serves Osaka's beloved comfort food: okonomiyaki (including wagyu and kinoko-truffle versions), yaki soba, ebi donburi, spicy miso udon, oden, dashimaki omelette, Japanese curry and izakaya small plates with sake and Japanese drinks. Founded by Moto, who came to London from Osaka in 1998 and built the business from a Brick Lane stall to Brixton Village; today it has four London sites (Brixton Village, Brixton East, South Bank at County Hall, and a King's Cross kiosk at Coal Drops Yard) and runs a zero-waste policy in the kitchen. Part of OKAN London alongside sister concept OTON.
