Original Collection

The Original Collection (Oco) is a Bradford on Avon-based group of 11 individually branded hotels, restaurants and wedding venues across the British Isles, founded by Nick and Charlotte Dent. Starting with Widbrook Grange near Bath in 2013, the collection now stretches from a Georgian farmhouse in the Cotswolds and a Jacobean manor on Dartmoor to a Berkshire boutique hotel, a beachside inn on the Norfolk coast, castle hotels near Edinburgh and Moffat, Highland lodges on Skye, at Gairloch and near Thurso, and a harbourside hotel in Kirkwall, Orkney. Each property runs its own restaurant and bar, from open-fire steaks and gourmet fish and chips to 2 AA Rosette tasting menus, and the group recruits centrally for chefs, front-of-house, kitchen and management roles across all sites.

The Catch

The Catch is the Original Collection's gourmet seaside fish and chip kitchen at The Ship Inn, Mundesley, on the North Norfolk coast: locally sourced sustainable fish in a light secret-recipe batter, served eat-in, al fresco or takeaway from noon until night.
