Palmers Brewery
JC & RH Palmer Ltd — Palmers Brewery — has brewed in Bridport since 1794 and is the only thatched brewery in the UK, drawing water from its own spring beside the river Brit a mile from the Jurassic Coast. Alongside its cask, keg, bottled and cider range, Palmers runs a tied estate of village locals, coastal inns and dining pubs across West Dorset, south Somerset and east Devon, several with letting rooms.
