Thai Leisure Group is the Leeds-founded, York-based Thai restaurant group behind Chaophraya (glamorous Thai fine dining, 6 restaurants) and Thaikhun (vibrant Thai street food casual dining, 9 restaurants). Founded in 2004 by Khun Kim — who began with an award-winning Phad Thai cart in Bangkok in 1993 — and her partner Martin, the group runs 15 restaurants from Aberdeen to Southampton and Bath to Newcastle, and lives by its L.O.V.E. values: Samakee (togetherness), Ow Jai Sai (care from the heart), Ha Dao (service excellence) and Sanook (fun). Support office: Blake House, 18 Blake Street, York.

Chaophraya (pronounced chow-pry-a, named after the river that is the lifeblood of Thailand) is Thai Leisure Group's glamorous Thai fine-dining brand. Founded in Leeds in 2004, it now has six restaurants — Leeds, Birmingham, Newcastle, Edinburgh, Glasgow and Aberdeen — in striking heritage and rooftop settings, serving refined Thai cuisine built on Khun Kim's original recipes, with private dining, cocktail bars and Thai cookery experiences. Its ethos: exceptional Thai food with a personal touch, and the guest experience at the heart of everything.

Thaikhun (pronounced tycoon, meaning "your" Thai restaurant) is Thai Leisure Group's vibrant Thai street food casual-dining brand. Every restaurant is an immersive window into Bangkok's Khao San Road, packed with hand-picked Thai bric-a-brac, serving authentic street-vendor recipes — including Khun Kim's award-winning Phad Thai — and Thai-inspired cocktails, with bottomless brunches, takeaway and delivery. Nine UK restaurants: Aberdeen, Bath, Glasgow Silverburn, Manchester Spinningfields, Metrocentre, Oxford, Southampton, Trafford Centre and Meadowhall. Everything about Thaikhun embraces sanook (fun).
