Part of Studio Paskin
The Barbary takes its culinary cues from the countries of the Barbary Coast, from Southern Europe to Northern Africa — a story of trade, travel and culture told through fire, smoke and spice. The original opened around a single horseshoe counter built about an open fire in Neal's Yard in 2016 and has held a Michelin Bib Gourmand since 2017; a second restaurant followed in a Grade II-listed building on Westbourne Grove in Notting Hill in 2024, with counter dining over the open kitchen, a cocktail bar and a wine list awarded a White Star by Star Wine List. Part of Studio Paskin, alongside The Palomar and The Blue Posts; roles across the group are listed at careers.studiopaskin.com.

The Blue Posts is an original Georgian tavern that has stood on Rupert Street, on the edge of Soho and Chinatown, since 1739 — three floors run by Studio Paskin. On the ground floor, the pub: first-come-first-seated, no reservations, exclusive hire on Sundays. Upstairs, The Mulwray, a hidden wine bar specialising in fine and natural wines from sustainable, biodynamic growers, with a weekly-changing by-the-glass list, Coravin bottles, sake and cocktails, and room for 40 standing. In the basement, Evelyn's Table — a 12-seat chef's counter led by Head Chef Seamus Sam (Restaurant Story, The Clove Club, Muse), serving a five-course tasting menu of British produce with French and Asian technique, and holder of a Michelin star since 2022. The Palomar is an open kitchen with everything on show — Middle Eastern-inspired cooking drawn from traditional recipes, modern techniques and places travelled to, where Soho meets Chinatown. Studio Paskin's first restaurant, it opened in May 2014 to great critical reception and has held a Michelin Bib Gourmand ever since, with Restaurant of the Year awards from GQ, Tatler and The Observer; The Palomar Sydney followed in 2025. Breads are baked in-house daily and the menu is written each morning; the wine list is minimal-intervention and biodynamic-leaning, and a small bar serves classic cocktails. "We create places that we want to go to, and to do that we need brilliant people" — roles across the group at careers.studiopaskin.com or careers@studiopaskin.com.
