The Diamond Inn is Ponteland's most recognisable landmark: a coaching inn built in the early 1700s with a distinctive Stuart design that keeps its warm, cosy, friendly feel today. A refurbishment added a heated riverside terrace, there is a private function room for hire, breakfasts and sport on numerous screens, and 12 en-suite rooms make it a base for exploring the Northumbrian countryside.
