Bealim House

Bealim House is Newcastle's first authentic gin distillery, bar and eatery, set over two floors of a former print works on Gallowgate. Home to The Newcastle Gin Company and the city's only working in-house gin still, its interior honours the building's industrial past with wooden floors, antique leather, vintage tiles and varnished brick. The ground floor also houses a Central Bean coffee shop. Part of Vaulkhard Group, whose head office is in the building.

Blake's Coffee & Kitchen

Blake's Coffee & Kitchen on Grey Street has been described as a Newcastle institution for coffee and food lovers alike — a cosy, hipster coffee shop attracting everyone from celebrities to students, open from 7am. Part of Vaulkhard Group.

Central Bean

Central Bean is Vaulkhard Group's coffee house brand. Its classic espresso beans are sourced from selected farms in Brazil, Mexico and Indonesia and medium-roasted to a unique profile in the UK; every coffee is ground fresh in front of you and pulled on hand-built La Marzocco machines. The coffee house is in Sanderson Arcade, Morpeth, with a counter inside Bealim House in Newcastle.

Keel Tavern

Keel Tavern launched in November 2023 on Keel Square in Sunderland as the home of the city's finest craft beer selection — a hand-picked, rotating line-up of cask, keg and bottled beers from the North East and beyond. The daily food menu is curated by the head chef to showcase local, seasonal pub grub at its best, from bar bites and small plates to the Pie Shop and famous Sunday roasts. Part of Vaulkhard Group.

RedHouse

RedHouse is a pie and ale house on Sandhill in the heart of Newcastle's Quayside, with views of the Tyne Bridge. Choose your pie, mash, peas and liquor and wash it down with a tasty ale in one of the city's most characterful rooms — exposed beams, dark wood and a proper old-Newcastle feel. Part of Vaulkhard Group.

Sandhill Arms

Sandhill Arms is a walk-ins-only, dog-friendly pub on Sandhill on Newcastle's Quayside, serving local and global beers with bar snacks and a kitchen menu, with private hire available. Part of Vaulkhard Group.

The Beehive

The Beehive is a small, cosy public house built in 1902 on the corner of the Cloth Market and High Bridge, at the top of Newcastle's iconic Bigg Market. Part of Vaulkhard Group.

The Bridge Tavern

The Bridge Tavern is a brewpub and eatery sitting directly under the Tyne Bridge on Newcastle's Quayside. There has been an ale house on the site for nearly two centuries; the original was demolished in 1925 to make way for the bridge and the current building rose after it. Proper, locally sourced seasonal comfort food from bar snacks to Sunday roasts, an often-changing menu, and a selection of bespoke cask and keg beers brewed on site alongside wines and spirits. Dog friendly, with outdoor areas and open fires. Part of Vaulkhard Group.

The Diamond Inn

The Diamond Inn is Ponteland's most recognisable landmark: a coaching inn built in the early 1700s with a distinctive Stuart design that keeps its warm, cosy, friendly feel today. A refurbishment added a heated riverside terrace, there is a private function room for hire, breakfasts and sport on numerous screens, and 12 en-suite rooms make it a base for exploring the Northumbrian countryside. Part of Vaulkhard Group.

The Town Wall

The Town Wall is a public house and eatery on Pink Lane, directly opposite Newcastle Central Station, housed in Bewick House — a Grade II listed building that was once the home and workplace of Northumberland artist and engraver Thomas Bewick. Excellent food, cask and craft ales and an extensive drinks list, served in the lively bar and in the basement dining and cinema room, which is available for private hire. Dog friendly, with open fires and an outside seating area. Part of Vaulkhard Group.

Wylam Brewery

Wylam Brewery is a 30-barrel microbrewery that resides in the Palace of Arts in Newcastle's Exhibition Park, the last surviving building of the 1929 North East Coast Exhibition. Alongside the brewery is the Brewery Tap and kitchen, and the Palace of Arts hosts live music, weddings, exhibitions and corporate events, with the whole venue available for hire.
