Fatt Pundit Soho on Berwick Street serves Indo-Chinese Hakka cooking - the cuisine created in Kolkata when Hakka migrants from Canton combined Chinese technique with Indian spice. Meals start with momos, steamed dumplings served with a spicy chutney, drawing on Bhutan, Nepal, Tibet and other parts of India, followed by dishes such as crackling spinach, popcorn cauliflower and Hakka chilli paneer lettuce cups.
