Hare & Tortoise Chiswick, just around the corner from Turnham Green station, with a modern minimalist interior that shuts out the high-street noise. Carefully crafted sushi alongside the group's pan-Asian noodles, rice dishes and dim sum; winner of the 2015 Casual Dining award for best-designed multiple restaurant. Mostly walk-in. Open daily 12 noon–10pm (last orders 9:30pm eat-in, 9:45pm takeaway).
