Rules

London's oldest restaurant, on Maiden Lane since 1798: classic British cooking and game, a cocktail bar, the Winter Garden, and the Graham Greene and Sir John Betjeman private dining rooms. Open seven days — Mon–Thu 12pm to 10pm last reservation, Fri–Sat 12pm to 11.30pm last orders. Tables of up to six only, no group bookings; smart dress preferred (no shorts or sportswear); under-tens welcome during the day but not after 7pm.
