The French House

Soho's legendary French House on Dean Street: a standing-room bar with thirty champagnes and wines by the glass, no music, no machines, no TV and no phones — first come, first served, no drinks reservations. Upstairs, the small restaurant serves a daily-changing menu at lunch (12–3pm) and dinner (6–9.30pm) Monday to Saturday, two sittings per service, tables of up to six, private groups of around twenty by arrangement. Bar open Mon–Fri 11.30am–11pm, Sun 12–10.30pm.
