51 Italian (formerly Trattoria 51) is an authentic Puglian Italian restaurant on Old Hall Street in Liverpool's commercial district, close to Moorfields station and a short walk from Liverpool ONE. Opened in 2013 in a grand Victorian building over two floors, it serves handcrafted pasta, stone-baked pizzas, seafood and meat classics with a well-chosen wine list, aperitifs and cocktails, and has an upstairs mezzanine for private events. Known for its full gluten-free menu, developed with DS-gluten free. Hours: Tue–Thu 12–9pm, Fri–Sat 12–9:30pm (seasonal and matchday variations).
