Goodman

Goodman is a London steakhouse group, opened on Maddox Street in Mayfair in 2008 and now running two restaurants, in Mayfair and the City. Beef is sourced from farms in the British Isles and Nebraska, and every restaurant has its own dry-ageing room where it is aged for a minimum of 30 days; chefs check the ageing room daily and cut by hand, which is why the daily specials board is called The Cut. Goodman promotes from within wherever possible - all its head chefs and most of its general managers came up through the ranks. Staff benefits include a 50 percent discount at Goodman and Beast, WSET wine training, complimentary supplier trips to vineyards and farms, bank holidays off, a PerkBox platform, an employee assistance programme with a 24/7 helpline, and free food and coffee on shift. The group was awarded Bronze in the Employees' Voice Best Workplaces Awards 2022 with the Sunday Times.
