The Alexandra Hotel was the birthplace of Derby CAMRA in 1974 and remains a real ale focused pub, with six or more cask beers, three keg lines and a range of bottles, cans and ciders. A short walk from Derby station, it has a traditional layout with a central bar flanked by a lounge full of railway memorabilia and a bar of classic breweriana, plus four letting rooms upstairs. A Castle Rock pub. Open Sun-Thu 12pm-11pm, Fri 12pm-midnight, Sat 11am-midnight.
