DHP's first venue and one of the longest-standing independent music venues in the UK, open since 1980. David Bowie, Nirvana, Oasis, Amy Winehouse and Ed Sheeran have all played its stage, and it remains an essential stop on the touring circuit. The main hall's atmosphere during live music and club nights is the draw; the venue has won Nottingham's Best Bar None award for Best Club several times and a Live UK Music Business Award for Best Teamwork.
