A boat and one of Bristol's longest-running entertainment venues, converted in 1982 by Vivian Stanshall and operated by DHP Family since 2006. It has hosted theatre, cabaret, live music and DJs, and its hull has served as a canvas for Banksy. A £500,000 refurbishment in 2014 was followed by a £50,000 L'Acoustics PA in 2015 and, most recently, a £1m hull replacement. Winner of NME's regional Best Small Venue award and a Live UK Best Teamwork award. Student nights run alongside the live music programme.
