Super 8 Restaurants

Super 8 Restaurants is Ben Chapman's independent London restaurant group, begun in 2014 with a DIY conversion of a tiny Soho bar on Denmark Street into Smoking Goat. It now runs five distinct restaurants — Smoking Goat (Shoreditch), Kiln (Soho), Brat (Shoreditch) with Brat x Climpson's Arch (London Fields), Mountain (Soho) and the newest, Impala (Dean Street, Soho) — built on direct relationships with growers, farmers and fishermen and the belief that restaurants can be better connected to farming and the seasons. The group holds two Michelin stars and regular placings in the World's 50 Best, National Restaurant Awards and Good Food Guide. It hires chefs, waiters and managers at all levels through its careers site, paying tronc on top of base rates, and looks for people who like making wine, learning to butcher and visiting farms.
